Animation in Web Design

In web design, animation is frequently the feature that brings returning visitors to your site. Xpertwebs creates two types of animation:

• Flash Animation - Flash is a method of displaying animation. While this method is very flexible, it has its limitations in that some devices such as the iPad and the iPhone cannot display Flash. For that reason, Xpertwebs no longer incorporates Flash animation. The following link displays a Flash animation that Xpertwebs created in the past. Link to Flash Animation. • Slideshows - provide an efficient way to display a great number of pictures that are relevant to the purpose of the site. Xpertwebs currently provides two types of slideshow:
  • External slideshows - This type of slideshow is displayed in a window separate from its website. Its dimensions are not limited by the width of the website's content area. This slideshow will open in a new window.
  • Internal slideshow.- Because this type of slideshow is displayed within the content area of the website, the width of its pictures are limited by the width of the website's content area. Because this slideshow is not part of the Xpertwebs site, it will open in a new window.

Note that none of the slideshows currently created by Xpertwebs uses Flash to implement the animation.
